Omar Aldukhayil is the Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Executive at Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR), where he leads the internal audit function and contributes to the organization's risk management and governance initiatives.
Aldukhayil brings over two decades of experience in audit and risk management across various sectors, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, and transportation. He began his career at Saudi Aramco in 1998, holding various positions up to Audit Manager. He then served as Chief Internal Auditor at MOJIL Group and held leadership roles in internal audit at TAQA and SABIC Agri-Nutrients.
He has also been actively involved with professional organizations such as the Saudi Anti-Fraud Association, UVA Saudi Arabia, and the Institute of Internal Auditors Saudi Arabia. He serves on the boards of several companies, including Fakhr Investment Holding and SAMI Aerospace Mechanics Co., and holds the position of Chairman at organizations such as the ArcelorMittal Jubail Co. and STAR.
He holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. Aldukhayil has completed executive education programs at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Harvard Business School, London Business School, and Harvard Extension School. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
