​​​​​​​In this meetup, we highlighted international and regional funding opportunities for Saudi startups, the role that Jada and its portfolio of funds can play in brokering these opportunities, and how startups can best attract these.​

​Jada’s eighth virtual meetup spotlighted the recent headline-grabbing success of Saudi-based start-up Sary, who attracting major investment from Silicon Valley-based venture capitalists, Rocketship.vc in a Series B funding round of over $30.5 million. ​C-suites from Sary, Rocketship.vc and VentureSouq the local partner of Rocketship.vc and a Jada portfolio fund, came together to explore the reasons that Sary was able to attract significant foreign investment and what the precedent that their example could set for subsequent Saudi startups and SMEs.​
